We at AdNode (AdNode, Inc. and our affiliates) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 1, 2019 and applies to our Website (www.AdNode.io) and our Online Service (the AdNode Service), including our associated mobile applications (Mobile Apps) owned and controlled by AdNode.

We reserve the right to update and change this Privacy Policy. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the AdNode Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our treatment of the information you provide us, please write to us by email at privacy@adnode.io.

1. USE OF THE ADNODE SERVICE BY OUR CLIENTS; TYPE OF INFORMATION THE ADNODE SERVICE COLLECTS

The AdNode Service

Our Online Service allows any company that uses it (our “clients”, which includes marketers, publishers and their vendors) to create or share orders for the purchase of digital advertising, advertising measurement data, derived advertising performance data, verification records, and automatically-generated invoices related to orders in which they have participated. The information added to our Online Service is stored and managed on our service providers’ servers. In addition, we produce hashes which are stored on public blockchains for verification and security purposes.

Our Website

Our Online Service may be accessed by business customers. The employees and independent contractors of our business customers may provide their personal information including name, email address, company address, information about corporate vendors and similar information in order for us to provide the Online Service.

Personally-Identifiable Information

Except as specified below, AdNode does not collect personally-identifiable information (“PII”) including, but not limited to, IP addresses, email address, name, address or phone number related to end users who view advertisements purchased through AdNode. We also do not capture PII from Order Participants.

2. HOW THE ADNODE SERVICE USES AND SHARES YOUR INFORMATION

Performance Data

Our Online Service receives data on the performance of digital advertising (“performance data”) from advertising measurement companies that are selected by marketers and publishers (the “Order Participants”) for their advertising orders (“Orders”). Performance data may include non-personally-identifiable advertising viewability information, contextual information of where ads appeared, anonymous geographic and demographic information, and other similar data related to end users accessing advertisements.

Performance data is accessible to the Order Participants and is used to generate derived data, including billing information and summary performance data. Clients may share summary performance data and billing information related to their Orders with clients they have specifically connected with through the AdNode Service, subject to the client’s privacy settings selected through the AdNode Service.

Single Sign-On

You can log in to our site using a Single Sign-on (SSO) service like your LinkedIn account. This service will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address. Such services may give you the option to post information about your activities on this Website to your profile page to share with others within your network.

Card and Bank Information

AdNode does not receive or process credit card or bank information directly. We currently use Stripe as our third-party service provider. Please review their privacy policy at https://stripe.com/us/privacy to better understand their practices. Note that our third-party service provider may provide certain information to us (e.g., your name, phone number, partial credit card number, and email address).

Public Blockchain Hashes

AdNode solely posts verification hashes on public blockchains. The verification hashes can only be re-created by clients who have access to their underlying documents and their approved vendors (such as their ad measurement provider, auditors, or advertisers for which they act as agents).

3. INFORMATION SECURITY AND NOTIFICATION:

The security of your information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

However, because no data transmission is completely secure, and no system of physical or electronic security is impenetrable, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you send to us or the security of our servers, networks or databases, and by using the AdNode Service you agree to assume all risk in connection with the information sent to us or collected by us when you access, visit and/or use the AdNode Service, and we are not responsible for any loss of such information or the consequences thereof. In the unlikely event that we believe that the security of your information in our possession or control may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you. If notification is appropriate, we may notify you via your computer, mobile or other device. Information may be transferred to, and maintained on, servers and databases located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as your jurisdiction. Please be advised that we may transfer your information to and from any state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, and process it in the United States or elsewhere. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to any such transfer.
